Amy Winehouse Coronial Inquest Invalid?

The inquest into the death of RnB singer Amy Winehouse may possibly be declared invalid due to the coroner in charge of conducting the investigation having insufficient qualifications to perform such an inquest. In October, Suzanne Greenaway stated that Winehouse had died of “unintended consequence of drinking too much alcohol.”

Greenaway stepped down from her position a month after conducting the inquest because she did not meet these strict guidelines reports Artists Direct.

“In order to meet the guidelines, she would have needed to have been a solicitor in the Law Society for at least five years, but she had only been part of the org for less than three years. So her resume was not at the level at which it needed to be.” states the report.
