From the (virtual text) mouth of Tyler, The Creator himself, Odd Future’s new record OF Tape Vol 2 will be released sooner than expected on February 20, 2012.
Tyler took to his Twitter account yesterday and announced…
@fucktyler: “OFTAPEVOL2. IN STORES ON THE 20TH!!!!! ALL NEW SHIT FROM ME FRANK HODGY INTANET LEFTBRAIN DOMO MIKE G AND UH….HOPEFULLY….YA KNOW”
He then later posted the new record’s cover art, which is pictured above
The OF Tape Vol 2 was originally due for March, and will be just one of many Odd Future related projects planned for 2012. May should see the debut of Tyler’s new record Wolf while fellow OF member Frank Ocean is also set to release a solo record later this year. Meanwhile Hodgy Beats and Leftbrain, under their side project Mellowhype have a 2012 record in the works.
Indeed it’s going to be a very odd future…
