Talking to Radar Music‘s Reegan in a recent interview, The Ting Tings‘ Jules De Martino about their plans to head down to Australia in 2012.
De Martino confirms that the band will be touring to Australia, and doing so twice, just like fellow boy girl two-piece Sleigh Bells. He confirms that they’ll be playing both festival dates and their own headline shows, but couldn’t remember the dates or the names of the festivals. The use of the plural, festivals, would imply that they’ll be heading over later in the year around festival season, but again as with Sleigh Bells the fact they’re coming down twice would suggest a Splendour appearance especially considering the fact that they pulled out of a scheduled appearance in 2010.
