Bondi Blitz All Ages Music Concert

All ages music festival Bondi Blitz returns on April 21.

A free outdoor concert, Bondi Blitz is aimed at 11-24 year-olds, as part of  National Youth Week.

Headlining the festival is Melbourne six-piece For Our Hero, who have supported the likes of Short Stack, 3OH!3, Amy Meredith, Michael Paynter, Gyroscope, The Getaway Plan and Vanessa Amorosi. Recently returned from a self-funded debut album with gold record producer Paul Leavitt, For Our Hero’s just released their new single Like Clockwork ahead of the album release later this month.

Also on the line-up are Sound of Seasons, who have supported Tonight Alive, Skyway, Closure In Moscow and These Kids Wear Crowns, among others. This year the band will release their debut album, following on from their single Sweet Decline.

Gold Coast rockers Nine Sons of Dan will also perform. Recently named as a band to watch by American music bible Alternative Press, the band have been generating a buzz with their single She’s So Fine, which was the most added track to radio upon its release, debuting at #23 on national airplay charts (The Music Network) and #13 on the AIR Sales Charts.

Rounding off the line-up is Sydney pop-punk outfit Highways, Adelaide pop-punk act Some Time Soon, Sydney’s Northern Beaches pop-punk outfit Forever Ends Here, fresh from Soundwave Festival Sydney hardcore group The Sweet Apes, local band Charssonez, local punk-hardcore act Mecalfe, Canberra singer/songwriter Tara Favell and Sydney’s pop-punksters April Falls.

Bondi Blitz is held on Bondi Beach on Saturday April 21 from  11am – 5pm and is a drug and alcohol free event.
