Last night, David Lee Roth stopped Van Halen mid song so he could berate some members of the crowd for fighting. The band were playing Roy Orbison’s Pretty Woman when a fight broke out in the crowd. Lee Roth told the band to stop, then screamed at the people fighting in the audience:
Knock off the fucking fighting. Fuck you! What do you think this is, a fucking mosh pit? You’ve got all the best-looking women on the fucking East Coast here and all you can fucking think of is fucking fighting? Ladies, I’m on your side, yeah.
Thankfully the fight did break out because the band looked pretty dismal beforehand; watch below.
