Secret Garden Festival Cancel All Bands, No Refunds

The Secret Garden Festival was forced to cancel all live acts this weekend due to wet weather. The news was only announced on Saturday afternoon and the organisers have no plans to refund any tickets. The good news is that all the money goes to charity anyway.

Bands that were scheduled to perform included Last Dinosaurs, New Navy, Pluto Jonze, Tin Sparrow, Winter People, The Preachers, Sticky Fingers + many more.

The organisers issued a statement yesterday:

As a result of adverse weather conditions the Secret Garden Festival site has been damaged. Our dedicated team is reconfiguring the site to make sure we have a safe and suitably Secret Garden space to host our little party.

For safety reasons we have scaled back our site – all bands are cancelled, but all DJs are going full steam ahead across multiple stages. Our main bar is up and running with beer, wine and cocktails and all the hard work of our creative areas will be on display. New gate opening time of 2pm and information on refund availability is to be confirmed.
