Recently reformed American alternative rock band, Garbage, have posted yet another track through their YouTube account. The band have uploaded their track Battle In Me, the official UK single from their forthcoming album Not Your Kind of People.
Battle In Me will be released on May 7, with a limited edition vinyl coming out on April 21 in support of Record Store Day. This is the second track they have posted on YouTube, which follows their track Blood For Poppies. Critics have complimented the band on retaining their ‘balls’ and not developing a softer sound as they mature, and I believe most will agree.
The band have started to tour and have some noticeable gaps around Splendour In The Grass. The band could be a bit of a curve-ball for punters who are expecting a more indie-based lineup. However, if their most recent releases are anything to go by, they will go down a treat at any festival. With both Splendour and Soundwave on the cards, a tour from the band will occur soon. Hopefully.
