Sydney electro-pop band Van She have announced a new album, titled Idea of Happiness, to be released on the 6th of July. This will be the band’s second album and follow-up to 2008 release V.
Idea of Happiness was recorded, engineered and produced by the band in their Kings Cross studio, which allowed them the time to fine tune their synths. Mixing was done in Los Angeles with Tony Hoffer, who is best known for his work with Beck, Air, Phoenix and M83.
Van She will take to the road next month to showcase the new album, playing a run of club shows around the country.
