Aerosmith (minus guitarist Brad Whitford, who’s away on tour) gathered this week to announce the details of their long-awaited fifteenth studio album.
At their press conference at Grove Mall in Los Angeles (watch below), frontman Steven Tyler revealed that they had been labouring over the recording for the past year, and dropped in a few song titles for us as well. Track names include Beautiful, Legendary Child and Out Go the Lights.
They’ve teamed up again with producer Jack Douglas; Tyler explains that the album is “almost done” and that there are two more songs to finish before the mixing will start with Douglas.
But if you’re keen to hear some new material soon, bass player Tom Hamilton says “a couple of singles will be released between now and the album’s release”.
