Pulp Could Record New Material

The recently reformed Pulp could record new material in the future, according to frontman Jarvis Cocker. Although nothing serious is on the cards yet, Cocker has revealed he has ideas for new Pulp songs. When asked in an interview with Shortlist if there was any new pulp material on the horizon, Cocker said:

It took us long enough to relearn the old songs, so we’ll have to see about that. But I’ve got ideas. I keep my little notebook, I’ve always got that with me. Hopefully there’s more stuff than nonsense in there.

Pulp reformed for a number of shows in 2011, including an appearance in Australia at the Splendour In The Grass Festival. In January 2012 it was announced they would be headlining the Coachella Festival lineup; they also reissued their first 3 albums earlier this year.
