Cut Copy Bass Player Announces Solo EP And American Tour

Cut Copy bass player Ben Browning has released his first solo EP Lover Motion on the group’s own label, Cutters Records.

The EP has surfaced while Cut Copy are working on the follow-up to last year’s ARIA-award winning record, Zonoscope.

Browning did most of the basic work for the EP in his home studio before enlisting Gus Franklin and Haima Marriott for production and mixing duties. The tracks also contain live drums from Franklin and Lachlan Dickie, and keyboards from Cut Copy bandmate Dan Whitford.

To mark the release, Browning will be playing a series of dates around America, which will feature Gus Franklin behind the drum kit and a special secret guest on various dates.
