The man who was stabbed in the neck with a broken beer bottle at a Blackberry launch party where Jessie J performed has died overnight in London. Doctors attempted surgery to remove pressure from the man’s brain however, police have confirmed he is now dead.
A 25 year old man has been charged over the incident and appeared in court yesterday accused of attempted murder, Metro reports. His bail was denied and he will now face the charges later this month.
The party where the stabbing occurred was sponsored by Blackberry and featured a performance from Jessie J. The event was attended by a number of local television and music celebrities.
According to witnesses a fight broke out as people were rushing to leave the gig after Jessie J’s performance finished. A man was left on the ground in a pool of blood. Police kept over 450 people at the venue until 2am in the morning while they investigated the crime scene.
