The long-anticipated Prince Australian tour dates are here early, and it looks like May will be the month it will happen. The news was supposed to come tomorrow when the official Chugg Entertainment Facebook page posted: “Hmmmm. Just checked the weather report. It’s predicting purple rain for tomorrow…”. However, everguide.com.au has leaked the dates early. See below.

Ladies and Gentlemen, our good friends at Chugg Entertainment are on a roll. First they announced Radiohead would be gracing our shores for the first time in eight years. Now, they’ve blessed our eyes and ears with the news that Prince will be touring Australia!
Prince has been rumoured to tour our great nation for some time, with appearances at both Big Day Out and Sydney Festival on the table. However, a lack of communication from both parties led to the absence of his presence at either festivals.
Prince Australian tour 2012 Dates
Friday 11th May – Allphones Arena, Sydney
Monday 14th May – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Friday 18th May – Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
