A Letter sent by a screen writer from the failed Maccabee movie quotes Mel Gibson saying he is glad John Lennon is dead. Joe Eszterhas claims the disgraced actor once made his feelings known about the peace activist:
“I’m glad he’s dead. He deserved to be shot. He was fucking messianic. Listen to his songs! Imagine. I hate that fucking song. I’m glad he’s dead.”
The 9 page letter, which has been obtained by the wrap also alleges that Gibson threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, with the help of 2 FBI agents.
“You said you’d become friends with two FBI agents (or former FBI agents) and they were going to help you to kill her.”
John Lennon was shot dead on the 8th December 1980, if he were still alive today he would be 71 years old.
