Tom Petty’s Stolen Guitars Returned By The Police

NME has reported that a stolen collection of vintage guitars have been retrieved and should soon be returned to their rightful owners Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers by the police (as in the cops, not the band).

As reported by Music Feeds Tom Petty offered a reward of $7,500 for the 5 guitars – Petty’s 1967 blond 12-string Rickenbacker and Gibson SG TVJunior; Mike Campbell’s blue Dusenberg Mike Campbell model, Ron Blair’s Fender Broadcaster; and Scott Thurston’s 1967 Epiphone Sherida – to be returned.

The guitars were stolen from a rehearsal studio in Culver City, Los Angeles and so far one man has been arrested in connection to the theft.
