Earlier this month Pip Brown aka Ladyhawke released the video for her latest single Sunday Drive, the second to be taken from her highly anticipated sophomore album Anxiety. Now we’ve been given some exclusive behind the scenes footage about the making of the clip.
The video was directed by Matt O’brien, who explains the plot of video, which includes Pip being locked up in the boot of a car (playing and singing the song) by a stalker, while it also takes on the stalker’s perspective as well.
The song itself is duly awash with riffs and lovingly distorted guitar textures, bringing added energy and excitement to her insanely catchy melodies — a contrast to the theme of the video.
You can see Pip on tour this July as she travels around Australia promoting the new album.
