Mudhoney Announce Splendour In The Grass Sideshow

The Splendour goodness just keeps rolling in with the latest news that rock legends and one of the most prominent bands to emerge from the Sub Pop label, Mudhoney, have announced an exclusive SITG sideshow at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel.

Rising to international fame in the late 80s, Mudhoney received their big break following the huge success of their debut EP Superfuzz Bigmuff and the single Touch Me I’m Sick. Both caused a lot of ears to prick up, including those of Sonic Youth, who invited the then young band to support them on tour in 1989.

Mudhoney have become one of the longest-lasting grunge bands to come from the Seattle scene, having released 10 albums to date including Mudhoney (1989), Piece of Cake (1992), Tomorrow Hit Today (1998) and Under A Billion Suns.

If this news has you in a salivating frenzy then listen up: their previous show at the Corner last December totally sold out in two weeks, so get in quick!
