Ke$ha Vowing To ‘Resurrect Rock’ With Iggy Pop

In a contender for the most unlikely collaboration of the year, Ke$ha has teamed up with Iggy Pop to create a track for her next record.

According to Ultimate Guitar, Ke$ha is planning a foray into rock music for her second record, enlisting the help of Iggy and Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne, who is producing the album.

A pic of the two has surfaced, with Iggy shirtless as usual, and Ke$ha doing a bit of a funny pose.

She’s also tweeted her excitement – telling her followers to ‘get ready’ for the track when it appears on her upcoming album.

There’s no word yet on when the album is out – but the Tik Tok hitmaker told MTV back in January that she wants to ‘resurrect rock’ and mix it with her trademark style:

“People say that rock and roll is dead, and it is my mission and my goal to resurrect it in the form of my pop music,” she said.

“That’s the goal. We’ll see what happens.”
