Melbourne’s PBS FM Launches Annual Radio Festival

Melbourne community radio station PBS 106.7 FM has launched its annual sponsorship drive – dubbed the PBS Music Festival.

Beginning on Monday, May 14 and continuing until Sunday, May 27 – the station is calling for new and existing listeners to sign up as members of the station and support “local, authentic, independent radio”.

Those who support the self-proclaimed “home of little heard music” have the chance to win great prizes – as mentioned in the station’s press release, which was originally first featured on Tonedeaf.

“By becoming a PBS member during this year’s Radio Festival, you are not only in the running to win some great prizes, but you are also actively supporting the huge team of weekly volunteers who operate the station.”

“Your financial support gives back to the station that gives Melbourne so much, and helps the musicians who rely on PBS for their art to flourish and survive.”
