Soundwave Boss AJ Maddah continues to drop hints for the Soundwave 2013 lineup, now revealing that Stone Sour are looking good for a headliner slot. Stone Sour have a new album due out October 2012 and when AJ was asked if Stone Sour were a chance, AJ replied with a straight “Yes” (tweet below).
So far Linkin Park and Godsmack have also been rumoured as possible headliners for Soundwave 2013, while other possibilities for the 2013 lineup include: Billy Talent, Papa Roach, Will We Came as Romans, The Devil Wears Prada, Miss May I and Blood on the Dancefloor.
The last time Stone Sour toured Australia was on the Soundwave 2011 lineup. We caught up with drummer Roy Mayorga before their sideshow at Luna Park in Sydney; check it out below:
