Eighties pop performer Martika has just announced she will be touring Australia for the first time in her approximately 30-year career. For those too young to recall or who just need a refresher course, Martika rose to prominence in the late 80s and early 90s behind #1 hits such as Love …Thy Will Be Done, Toy Soldiers, and most notably I Feel The Earth Move.
During Martika’s prime, the singer sold over 5 million records and established a loyal fan base that has allowed Martika to continually tour around the world. Now at age 43 Martika is finally coming to Australia for an extensive 8-date tour.
Younger music listeners may be better aquainted with Martika’s music via the reworking of her single Toy Soliders by hip hop artist Eminem for his 2005 single Like Toy Soliders.
