R. Kelly To Release Memoirs ‘Soulacoaster: The Diary of Me?’

You can’t make this stuff up. Hip hop mega star R.Kelly has taken a break from urinating on underaged girls to finally finish his long-time-coming memoirs titled ‘Soulacoaster: The Diary of Me?’. Deep.

Set for release on June 28, the personal re-callings of the soulster is expected to be a fairly loaded book. It will be a cram-packed week for Kelly, whose new album Write My Back (I see what he did there) will hit the shelves June 26.

Here’s the official synopsis of the memoirs care of Consequence of Sound :

In his own words, music icon Robert Sylvester Kelly takes readers on an emotion-packed “soulacoaster” ride that explores the untold story of his frequently sensationalized but rarely humanized life. With searing honesty, Kelly delivers a fascinating portrait of a gifted soul trapped in the conflicting realities of “bump and grind” sexuality and soul-stirring “I Believe I Can Fly” spirit. Kelly’s spectacular rise from street performer to superstar who has sold more than 35 million records worldwide was derailed when he plummeted into a six-year legal ordeal that nearly ruined his life and finances–until in 2008 he was found innocent of all criminal charges.

Robert will also be hosting a series of book signings through The States. You can take a sneak peak at the new album below by checking out the latest single the aptly named Feelin Single .
