Chris Brown And Drake Offered $1Million To Go Head To Head

Hip hop heavy weights Chris Brown and Drake, who you may remember from such incidents as a recent nightclub donnybrook, have been made an offer that has to be hard to refuse – $1 million a piece for them to enter the boxing ring and slug it out until we have the ultimate hip hop fighter.

Billionaire soda bottling heir Alki David has offered to put up the cash, and celebrity boxing promoter Damian Feldman is championing the fight. In his opinion it’s not such a far-fetched idea: “Obviously they have a grudge. It’s just three 1-minute rounds. No one will get seriously hurt”, Feldman told the New York Daily News. The recent brawl at the WiP nightclub in New York left Brown with a split lip, and his international basketball buddy Tony Parker with a career-threatening eye injury.

The fight has been pencilled in to take place in either Las Vegas or LA on or around August 25. The Pay-Per-View event is sure to prick up a few ears. Though a rep speaking on behalf of Brown has stated that no one in Brown’s entourage has even heard of this offer. Of course this won’t please label top dog Lil Wayne, who made an appeal to Drake to end the beef in the name of the almighty dollar.

Police are now looking for witnesses to help them sift through the tangled web of tabloid opinion-based reports and factual reports, though they are currently working on the theory that Drake and his posse taunted Brown and his posse with remarks about a mutual ex-partner Rihanna. Feldmen even saw this as a potential opportunity for cross-marketing: “I would love to have Rihanna as the ring girl”.

As horrible as it is to think that this is the best rap beef our generation can come up with, we may as well enjoy it like it’s Biggie Vs 2pac round 2, or Jay-Z Vs NAS round 2. It really isn’t, but hey, it’s all we’ve got, may as well enjoy it! A woman basher and a star of Degrassi High next Generation. No matter who gets their ass kicked, society wins.
