It looks as though she’s done it again. After being taken to court previously for defamation, Courtney Love has once more found herself in hot water, with her ex-assistant now taking her to court.
Jessica LaBrie, who assisted Love between June 2010 and July 2011, claims that a large chunk of her salary was never paid. LaBrie has also stated that in her time under the Hole frontwoman’s employment, she was asked to carry out tasks including hiring a computer hacker and producing counterfeit legal documents and that when she refused, a proportion of her salary was withheld. According to NME, LaBrie will be releasing a book on her experiences with Love, titled Get Me A Xanex.
Love has been all over the shop lately, first attacking the sweetheart of rock Dave Grohl by claiming he hit on her daughter with Kurt Cobain, Francis Bean Cobain. Francis straight up denied the remark, even going as far as to say that “Twitter should ban my mother.”
Love is currently being sued by her ex-lawyer as well. Keith A. Fink & Associates are seeking $466,029.41 in unpaid fees, while Rhonda Holmes – of law firm Gordon & Holmes – is also suing her for slandering her name in a tweet “I was fucking devastated when Rhonda J Holmes esq of San Diego was bought off. I’ve been hiring and firing lawyers to help me with this.”
Courtney Love needs to learn to just STFU.
