Bloc Party will be playing a warm up show at The Zoo in Brisbane on the 27th of July on the back of their appearance on the Splendour in the Grass 2012 lineup. This looks to be the only if any sideshows the group will be playing, so it’s likely you’ll need to be quick to grab a ticket if you’re missing them at Splendour.
Tickets will go on sale on 17th July, but are only available to Bloc Party and Secret Sounds mailing list members. Signup to either by 9am Monday, 16th July Australian EST to receive the exclusive ticketing info. The Last Dinosaurs will be joining them as support.
Bloc Party will be releasing their new album Four, and Australian fans will be amongst the first to witness their new tracks live. The first single, Octopus, was released earlier this week, and will be amongst 12 tracks on the album in total. Watch some of the other new tracks they’re recently debuted live here.
