Lamb Of God Frontman’s ‘Bail Is Being Challenged’ Once Again

After initially been denied bail even after paying a fine of $200,000US, Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe has once again learned that the judge might not accept his application, despite paying a further $400,000 in fees.

The final word is now up to the residing judge. The prosecution instantly challenged Blythe and his legal team after they presented the appropriate documents to Prague Municipal Court, according to The Gauntlet, who apparently have sources based in Prague, close to the case. The prosecution must now submit a worthy reason for their claims. Following this, the Judge will have 5 days to consider his decision, then another 5 days before the action will be implemented.

This is another major setback for the vocalist, who is incarcerated in the country following the death of a fan at a 2010 Lamb of God performance. Though the evidence is being heavily disputed, prosecution has not rested in their argument. The exact details around Blythe’s previous bail application are hazy, though even his lawyer reported that it is very unusual for an individual to remain in custody after paying their bail fee.

This will be the final verdict in the case, so unless Randy is charged with the offense, he will be free to leave the Czech Republic with out condition, though still technically on bail.
