Lindsay ‘The Doctor’ McDougall has earned a rep as one of the most trusted voices on national radio through his regular show on triple j’s Drive program. However, following his recent coverage of Splendour in the Grass over the weekend, it seems fans have had enough.
Once a member of seminal Australian punk rock outfit Frenzal Rhomb, McDougall is known for reverting back to yesteryear. However, it’s for that very reason that listeners have spoken out, believing that the Splendour courage was less about the band being interviewed, or the band performing and more about his own stories that were somehow relevant.
Though the post has been taken down, one angry individual seemed especially annoyed by the banter. Thanks to Pedestrian we can check it out.
