Adele Rumoured To Be Performing At London Olympics Closing Ceremony

Adele might be showing off her baby bump to the world at the Closing Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games tomorrow morning.

The pregnant songstress’ name has been added to the lineup of acts performing at the big event, according to a new report by UK tabloid The Telegraph.

They’ve obtained what is believed to be a running sheet of the ceremony, which is being billed as ‘A Symphony of British Music’ and featuring some of the UK’s best acts over the last 50 years.

Adele’s name has been mentioned in the segment directly following the athletes’ arrival into the main area, which will “have a soundtrack of British hits from the past five decades, recorded by David Arnold and the London Symphony Orchestra, interspersed with live appearances.”

Other names mentioned in that segment alone include The Beatles, Pet Shop Boys, One Direction, Liam Gallagher, David Bowie, Brian May, Elton John, Queen, the Rolling Stones, and The Clash.

The report also states that The Spice Girls will be opening the event by performing on black cabs in a scene reminiscent of the London rush hour – and The Who and Take That will close the show, accompanied by a massive fireworks display on the stadium roof.

The Olympics Closing Ceremony is scheduled to begin at 6am Australian time tomorrow morning. For more details on it, click here.
