Chris Brown & Drake Sued $16 Million For Nightclub Punch Up

In the months following the highly publicised brawl between rappers Chris Brown and Drake at a New York Nightclub, all involved went mad with finger pointing and the blame game. The owners of the club are facing several lawsuits, but Entertainment Enterprises Ltd has stepped in, suing both parties for failing to control their posses.

So we all know the story, the two traded blows over their conflicting feelings for a mutual past fling, Rhianna. But what seemed like a cool idea at the time has come back to bite them both very hard. Entertainment Enterprises Ltd is seeking $16 million from the musicians, stating that the donnybrook occurred “in circumvention of the venue’s extensive security measures” and they should therefore be held responsible.

According to NME, Lawyer Andrew T. Miltenberg acting on behalf of Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, which looks after Greenhouse Clubs, an umbrella under which WIP Nightclub in NYE is controlled, told Fox News that “It’s their posse, and they’re in charge, and to the extent that they could have controlled or dissipated whatever was going on, we don’t believe they did.”

The lawsuit will act as compensation for the many deals that have since fallen through with Greenhouse Clubs due to the bad publicity. So far neither have commented on the lawsuit. Though maybe if Round II happens, the prize money can be used to help pay.
