Soundwave 2013 Tickets Brisbane, Melbourne Sold Out – Sydney Not Far Away

Well it was bound to happen. Tickets for two Soundwave 2013 events on the East Coast have now sold out, only hours after they went on sale at 9am this morning. Brisbane was the first to sell, followed quickly by Melbourne. Sydney is still holding out, but it’s inevitable that it would also follow in the same fate as the other cities.

With an impressive lineup, which stars the likes of Metallica, Linkin Park, Blink 182 and The Offspring, you couldn’t expect tickets to last for long. With around 15% of the total tickets being allocated to the general public sales, those smart enough to get in for the pre-sales hopefully should be feeling more content this morning.

The second announcement came last Friday, and revealed acts such as Slayer, Bullet for My Valentine, Billy Talent, and Bring Me the Horizon, and the one we didn’t see coming at all, Cypress Hill. But believe it or not, there’s still one more to come, with Puscifier, The Chariot, The Vandals and Chelsea Grin all looking very likely to jump on board.

For those who missed out, sidewaves should be coming up around November (though this could change now tickets are sold out) and with so many great bands coming out here, you’re bound to see at least one good show this February, if not several. We already know that Blink-182 are likely do at least one in Brisbane. We’ll just have to wait patiently until then.
