It may not be that surprising but it could be very exciting if the constantly collaborating Kanye West crosses paths with current hip hop ‘it’ girl Azealia Banks. Earlier today Banks posted a series of tweets that point heavily to the 212 rapper teaming up with West for, as predicted by Consequence of Sound, a track that will appear on West’s G.O.O.D. Music record Cruel Summer due out September 4.
Banks took to her Twitter Account to announce that she had been contacted by West and was pumped at the opportunity to work with the world-famous artist. Along with the two initial tweets embedded below, Banks posted several comments of excitement, which have been kindly pieced together by Consequence of Sound.
“The past seven days have really been epic[…]I’m really nervous[…]. Wow, i get to travel and see the world and rub shoulders with all these really talented people and do all kinds of cool shit. this is funn.”
