The Refused are not fucking dead, indeed! Today long-running rumours have been confirmed that the newly reformed seminal Swedish punk outfit Refused will be coming to Australia.
We’ve been forced to watch from a distance as the band graced stages all over the world, and even made their first US wide TV appearance ever in anticipation for their very much-talked about return.
Soundwave boss AJ Maddah toyed around with followers about featuring them on the Soundwave lineup, but now the Aussie fans suffering from the angst of thinking they’re never going to get the chance to see the band can chill, Maddah pulled through in the end and the band will be in town this November.
Refused has a short, but very effective heads-up for fans: ”We don’t know about you, but for us, in 2012, boredom is not on the table. See you in the pit.” Fuck yes; see you there.
