Something For Kate Australian Tour 2012 – ‘Leave Your Soul To Science’

Much loved Aussie trio Something for Kate will be embarking on their first national Australian tour in almost five years this October, to celebrate the release of their new album Leave Your Soul to Science. They’ll be playing five dates in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Fremantle.

The new album is their first new offering in six years and follows frontman Paul Dempsey’s solo record Everything Is True, which came out in 2009. The band recorded Leave Your Soul to Science in Dallas, Texas with producer John Congleton – with Dempsey describing it as “the most sonically interesting record” the band has made.

The band will reveal songs from the brand new album live, as well as songs from their extensive back catalogue. Joining them on the road will be Ben Salter (The Gin Club) in solo mode.
You can also see the band play at the Queenscliff Music Festival as well as Homebake 2012.

Tickets go on sale Friday, 31st August at 9am local times.
