The Black Keys To Begin Work On New Album

In a very recent interview with BBC, The Black Keys have confirmed that work will begin on their hugely anticipated follow-up release, once they’ve done a spot of touring that is.

The band has confirmed tours throughout South America, Australia, New Zealand and the US before returning to the UK. Though once home, it’s straight to the studio. “Early next year we’ve got some time blocked to make a new record. It’s full on.”

The success of the band’s previous release, El Camino, was also a hot topic of the interview as the band spoke of success and how it can be achieved: ‘Just make music that you like,” he said. “Try to enjoy yourself and that’s all you can do. I can’t even say that because most musicians are unhappy. Just don’t listen to anyone, and make music.”

The band has recently wrapped up a support slot for Foo Fighters at both Reading and Leeds Festivals. The lads will be playing some pretty big venues here when they’re in town. Check out the dates here.
