Watch: Jay Z Feat. Pearl Jam: ’99 Problems’

No, this isn’t a Rick Roll; this actually happened. As word begins to spread on what went on behind the fences of Jay Z‘s debut Made In America festival, some of the greatest music experiences have obviously been had over the weekend, though I struggle to find something that parallels this particular moment.

Never before in the history of the world had this happened. During their headlining set, on the 2nd day of the festival, Pearl Jam were joined by the events curator Hov for an amazing rendition of his mega hit 99 problems. Consequence of Sound were on the ground filming the whole thing; you can check it out below. How do you think that compares to the version with Linkin Park?

By the sounds of things, the festival was essentially a whole bunch of amazing musicians running around doing whatever they wanted. Hov has that sort of power, I mean, if you can convince the President of the USA to take time from, well, running one of the biggest countries in the world just to make a short video for punters at your festival, you can pretty much do anything.
