Sevendust Enter The Studio For New Album, Pencil In Early 2013 For Release

Already with 8 studio records under their belt, Sevendust have released the first signs of progress on number 9 today, having recently entered Architekt Music to deliver the band’s second release since reforming with their original lineup.

In 2010, the band released their first album for a number of years with all original members. Much to the delight of fans, as Cold Day Memory smashed through 27,000 sold copies in its first week, shooting the band up to No.20 on the Billboard 200 charts, according to Blabbermouth.

For that release, the band teamed up with the Grammy Award-winning producer Johnny K, though for the new album, they have joined forces with the well-respected Mike Ferretti. With Ferretti at the wheel, the album is expected to hit shelves early 2013.

The band have also broken off into some separate side projects, for those of you who like a little more out of your music. Vocalist Lowery and drummer Morgan Rose have gone on to form Call Me No one, who’s debut album was released back in June, while guitarist John Connolly and bassist Vince Hornsby have started working on Projected. Their debut album will be released September 18 on Connolly’s own Yaya Papu LLC label.
