Watch: Rocket From The Crypt One-Off Reunion On Yo Gabba Gabba

Yo Gabba Gabba must have some serious pulling power. The Nick Jr show has brought together all members of the previously disbanded Rocket From The Crypt, who got together for the gig for the first time since 2005.

Very recently, Cut Copy joined a list of world class bands to perform on the children’s program. Rocket, whose performance was rumoured to be happening as early as last year, played the special tune He’s a Chief. It is a simple, but effective tune detailing the various chores of a chef, roasting a chicken for example, all the while the Chef (who’s actually the dude from Reno 911) dances around.

The single He’s a Chief will be available for purchase September 21 as a B-Side release as part of a limited edition 7″ collaborative between The Flaming Lip’s Wayne Coyne and Biz Markie. The record will be available only at Volcom retail stores, according to Pitchfork, though 100 copies will be given away from Volcom’s Website.
