The Melbourne-based, African-born hip hop duo are giving fans a free download of their brand new single Light Will Shine (To Be Me) – which you can get by clicking right here.
Featuring production from M-Phases, the track will appear on the band’s forthcoming album Pocket Full of Dreams, which is out on September 28.
Billed as an “unashamedly large, world class rap album”, Pocket Full of Dreams has already spawned the triple j-loved singles Simple Man and Running It, and new club single Helicopter,
Plenty of local hip hop cohorts also join them on the record, with special guest appearances from 360, Dwele and Daniel Merriweather.
Pocket Full of Dreams comes four years after Diafrix’ debut album Concrete Jungle, and is “representing the hope and dreams of those who don’t have a voice, in turn becoming inspiring examples of two dreamers overcoming hardship and obscurity to realise their own.”
