Watch: Calvin Harris Featuring Florence Welch – ‘Sweet Nothing’

The video for Calvin Harris and Florence Welch‘s much-hyped new collaboration track has been released.

Sweet Nothing sees Welch adopt what is being described by Diffuser as “an androgynous look for the video that is a far cry from her typical feminine appearance”.

The theme of the video sees Welch show “a wild display of emotion” in which she “ultimately lets her hair down and strips away the mens suit she was wearing to reveal her true identity.”

Interesting stuff indeed. Check out the video at the bottom of the page.

This isn’t the first time Welch and Harris have worked together – they also teamed up for the track Spectrum (Say My Name), which has been all over commercial radio in recent months.

Sweet Nothing will be appearing on Harris’ hugely-anticipated new album 18 Months, which is scheduled for release on October 29. Something tells me that the album will be on the Christmas list of countless dance fans in the lead-up to Christmas.

Harris is part of the gigantic Stereosonic lineup that will be making its way around the country in November and December. Meanwhile, Welch is on the verge of taking a year off after extensive touring for Florence and the Machine’s most recent album Ceremonials.
