Earlier today reports surfaced on what was thought to be confirmed dates for American pop punk act Blink 182’s Sidewave shows while visiting Australia next year for Soundwave 2013. Now after some investigation by Music Feeds it turns out that reported dates are unconfirmed and tickets will not go on sale on Friday, September 28 at 9am.
Update 11/10: Blink-182 Sidewaves officially announced
The unconfirmed dates were originally reported as being February 22nd – Brisbane, February 26th – Melbourne, March 6th – Adelaide and March 8th – Sydney; although no venues were attached to the originally report.
What is for sure is that Blink 182 will be in Australia for Soundwave 2013 and the trio, which will include Travis Barker, will be playing a handful of Sidewave gigs. An official announcement on Sidewave shows is expected shortly so keep an eye out on Music Feeds for confirmed details.
