Horror visionary and general master of all trades Rob Zombie has now released the first taste of his forthcoming film Lords of Salem. Much like House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects, Lords of Salem sees Zombie don his director’s cap for what is set to be another terrifying ride through the imagination of Rob Zombie.
Staring Sheri Moon Zombie, Bruce Davison and Jeff Daniel Phillips, the movie looks pretty damn freaky. Based around a city under siege from a coven of ancient witches, the film is also centred on a group of radio presenters who become entangled in the supernatural after mistakenly opening a package they really shouldn’t have opened. Creepy shit.
Filming began back in 2011, which means Lords of Salem is slated for a 2013 release date. It’s hard to imagine where Zombie gets the time, between directing, acting, releasing remix albums, and being a general legend. Check it out below, thanks to Metal Underground.
