As the release date for Parkway Drives’ fourth coming album Atlas draws nigh, Byron Bay’s hardcore representatives have made a new track available for streaming. The latest song goes by the name of Old Ghosts/New Regrets and follows on from Dark Days, which came out as the lead single last month.
As reported by Blabbermouth, Parkway Drive’s vocalist Winston McCall said that although Atlas is an evolution for the band, it doesn’t mean the music has moved away from what the fans have come to love about Parkway Drive.
“Everything has been enhanced,” explained McCall. “People don’t have to kiss the old parts goodbye. When you think of change, you think of things being taken away, but there’s not a case here where anything has been taken away. This is just more on top.”
Atlas will be released later this month, with a deluxe version of the record including the band’s new documentary Home Is for the Heartless, which captures Parkway Drive’s time touring destinations such as India, China and Colombia.
Parkway Drive are all set to tour behind their new record, with an Australia tour taking place throughout December of this year. Tickets go on sale on 22nd August. All shows will be all-ages.
