Clearly a very musically occupied person, Daniel Rossen has dug deep into his personal back catalogue to find his most recent offering.
The track, which never got named, found its way onto Rossen’s SoundCloud. The singer/songwriter, who features in both Grizzly Bear and Department of Eagles, labelled the song “too old to work on anymore and won’t see the light of day in any other format”, meaning it would be put toward neither musical project, but will serve its own purpose online.
So far the track seems to have done well with fans, begging the question as to why he didn’t release it properly. Though with a schedule like Grizzly Bear’s, I’d imagine it would be a challenge to keep track of all your recordings. The band will be in town any day now as part of the Harvest Festival festivities, with their own headlining shows already announced.
