Bring Me The Horizon Reveal New Album Title ‘Sempiternal’

Bring Me The Horizon has revealed that Sempiternal is the name of their fourth studio record. Although a title has been given, there still appears to be no word on when fans can expect the follow-up to 2010’s There Is a Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let’s Keep It a Secret.

Progress on Sempiternal has been kept pretty tightly under wraps by the English metalcore five-piece. Since news broke in July that Bring Me The Horizon were in the studio working on a new album, there have been limited updates.

Earlier this month Music Feeds reported that Canadian singer Lights will once again appear on a Bring Me The Horizon album. Lights previously lent her vocal stylings to Bring Me The Horizon for two tracks on their last LP, 2010’s Their Is a Hell…. In regards to the collaboration, Lights (real name Valerie Poxleitner) said that she enjoyed the challenge of being outside her comfort zone.

“It’s good doing something different from what I normally do. Any kind of distance is hard but I went out for a little bit,” Lights explained.

As far the band’s thoughts on Sempiternal, Blabbermouth reported that Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes told Kerrang Magazine that the new album surpasses any previous efforts.

“I’ve never been so confident about an album”, Sykes said, “It makes our last record just sound shit. We’re doing stuff we could never have dreamed of doing before.”

Bring Me The Horizon will be in Australia for Soundwave 2013. It’s unclear whether Sempiternal will precede them but either way Australian fans are surely in for some new tunes.
