Though the name Divine Fits might be fresh, within its members lies decades and decades of experience. It has now been announced that said experience will be on display for 2 headlining shows while the trio are in town for Laneway Festival.
Featuring Britt Daniel (Spoon), Dan Boeckner (Wolf Parade/Handsome Furs) and Sam Brown (New Bomb Turks) Divine Fits is comprised of nothing but indie rock royalty. The group’s debut album A Thing Called Divine Fits lived up to the hype, then surpassed it. Having only hit the market a matter of months back, word is quickly spreading about the release, which has received stacks of great reviews.
Sonically the band fused their sensibilities to create a fuzzy yet melodic garage-beaten rock, and in a live sense, the band’s passion and experience ooze through, creating a great atmosphere and an impressive performance. It’s a night that will tick all boxes.
