It’s about that time to start gearing up for the annual Boys of Summer tour. Putting a key emphasis on punk rock and hardcore, the event gets bigger every year, and with 2013 getting closer and closer, we can expect the next lineup on Wednesday.
Word has come through today that Atticus will be bringing us the event this year, which at times has been hosted by Vans or Element. Other than that, so far we know that Boys of Summer alumni Deez Nuts will be performing. JJ Peters featured in a video announcement that went live today, promoting the tour as well as confirming his spot on the lineup.
Previous years have seen acts such as The Amity Affliction, Verse, Comeback Kid, Every Time I Die, 50 Lions, and of course Deez Nuts. Kicking off usually in the afternoon, the event has become somewhat of an institution in the local scene: like who remembers that one time the Carpathian guitarist broke his knee? Hectic! Anyway.
