One of our most beloved hardcore summer tours is set for another instalment of its unique brand of partying. The Boys of Summer Tour will be kicking into gear early next year with one of the sickest lineups we’ve seen yet.
Taking out the headlining position for the tour is none other than Ghettocore pioneer Deez Nuts. Emerging from the ashes of the once defunct I Killed The Prom Queen, Deez Nuts – with JJ Peters at the helm – has become an international wonder. Combining all the best parts of hip hop and hardcore, there’s really nothing else out there quite like Deez Nuts, who have become crowd favourites on the tour over the years.
Canada’s Comeback Kid will be returning to the adoring Aussie fans as main support for the gig. Without a doubt one of the most loved-up and respected outfits to emerge in the past while, Comeback Kid have kept a strong presence in Australia, having toured here a fair few times. Michigan’s For the Fallen Dreams will also be making the journey Down Under for the tour, still riding atop the success thrown at them after their 2012 release Wasted Youth. FTFD’s legendary live show will be an insane addition to the bill.
Aussie favourites Hand of Mercy will be rounding off the lineup. The rising stars of the local music scene took things to the next level with their most recent release Last Lights, and show no immediate signs of slowing down. The boys will be missing a couple of shows on the run, so check the dates carefully, but for the most part, Hand of Mercy will be a wicked start to a wicked evening of music.
