Father John Misty Announces Plans For Australian Tour

Ex-Fleet Foxes stick man, the talented Mr Father John Misty, has declared that once again he will be shaking the walls of our live music venues, equipped with his debut record Fear Fun and a next level live performance to boot.

We have been somewhat spoiled with Father John Misty’s presence. The man was in town not too long ago for the annual Splendour in the Grass performance. This time round will be a tad different, with a run of headlining shows, though the experience is sure to be just as (if not more) splendid.

Fear Fun was released back in May and has been kicking along nicely ever since. The first track to be given the clip treatment Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings demonstrated the pulling power of Father John Misty, who managed to attract Parks and Recreation‘s Aubrey Plaza to act in the video. In a live setting, the tracks take a totally new shape, as does Misty himself, what with those moves and all. Not one to keep his thoughts to himself either, it’s sure to be a hilarious evening.

Tickets go on sale November 14, though if you sign up to the Secret Sounds mailing list before Monday, you can get your tickets November 12.
