Kitty, Daisy & Lewis Announce Bluesfest 2013 Sideshows

No strangers to the stages of Australian festivals, crooner siblings Kitty, Daisy and brother Lewis have announced their co-curricular actives while in town for next year’s massive and still growing Bluesfest.

Choosing the best parts of American rockabilly, jazz, blues, R&B, country and Jamaican ska of the 40s, 50s and 60s then piecing them together to forge their own vibe, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis are a tip-of-the-hat to the sounds of yesteryear, kept relevant through their contemporary sensibilities.

The trio have found considerable traction amongst a generation who refuse to lay down and cop today’s modern mainstream tuneage, the Gen Y’s who long for music with substance, and since the group’s debut 4 years back, they’ve needed to look no further.

Joining them on stage for their sideshows will be, as always, their father on rhythm guitar and mother, Ingrid, on upright bass and Eddie ‘Tan Tan’ Thornton, the legendary Jamaican trumpet player.
