Rick Ross Cancels Shows Following Death Threats From Gangsters Disciples

Though it’s yet to be confirmed that the two are related, it certainly looks as though recent death threats addressed to hip hop identity Rick Ross were the reason behind his decision to cancel upcoming shows in North Carolina.

Neither Rick Ross nor promoters Live Nation gave a reason as to why Ross pulled the plug on his scheduled performances in Greensboro tonight and Charlotte on Saturday night, but if you had the below video directed at you, you wouldn’t think twice about avoiding the area altogether.

The renowned and notorious Gangsters Disciples posted the clip on YouTube, where they explain their beef with Ross. According to Contact Music, the first strike against him came when he referenced the gang’s leader – though apparently the gang gave him “a pass”. Strike two came when Ross used the Star of David on his The Black Bar Mitzvah mixtape cover, the same symbol used by Gangsters Disciples.

A gang spokesperson firmly states that for this ‘disrespect’ not only Ross but everyone in his record label are at risk. During the whole clip a group of menacing looking dudes stand around – it’s a pretty intimidating clip, minus the dodgy editing. Check it out below.
